A Technology Services Corps (TSC) team of 14 Garfield students and 3 adult chaperones traveled to Otavalo, Ecuador in August 2009 to set up two networked computer labs in local schools. The Garfield students taught students and staff at the schools about the use and maintenance of the computers. In preparation for the trip, the TSC team volunteered at InterConnection, a non-profit computer recycling center in Seattle (See Photos).
